ML-PIPES

Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 5, 2026.

Scope and Operator

This notice describes how the trained-by-humans organization operates the ml-pipes documentation websites:

It concerns visits to these websites, not data processed by applications you build with the ml-pipes Python packages. External websites and services have their own privacy notices.

Optional Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which documentation pages are useful and how visitors reach and use them. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose Allow analytics, or when you previously saved that choice. You can read and use the documentation without allowing analytics.

After acceptance, analytics may process page URLs and titles, referring websites, browser and device information, approximate location, interaction events, and cookie-based browser identifiers. Google also receives the network information needed to handle analytics requests. These identifiers are not the same as anonymous statistics: they can distinguish browser visits and sessions.

Our initial page-view configuration omits query strings and URL fragments from page URLs and referrers. Additional automatic measurements depend on the Google Analytics configuration. Do not include personal or sensitive information in documentation URLs. Advertising consent is denied, and Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our website integration.

For details about Google's processing, see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Cookies and Your Choice

Cookie Purpose Scope and Lifetime
pixel-lab-analytics-G-CE2N1XKFVT Remembers whether you allowed or declined analytics; it is not an analytics identifier. Shared across ml-pipes.com and its subdomains. Expires 180 days after you save a choice. Uses Secure and SameSite=Lax.
_ga and _ga_CE2N1XKFVT Google Analytics browser and session measurement after acceptance. Hostname-specific; not shared by our integration across subdomains. Google controls their expiry under its cookie configuration, normally up to two years, subject to browser limits.

Choosing Decline does not load Google Analytics. Both acceptance and rejection apply across the three documentation sites. The consent cookie is used only to remember that choice. If cookies are blocked, a choice may apply only to the current page and you may be asked again on a later visit.

Use Analytics settings in any site's footer to change your choice. Withdrawing consent disables analytics, attempts to remove that site's Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page to unload the analytics tag. Other open documentation pages check for a changed choice when focused and periodically while the browser permits them to run. You can also remove stored cookies through your browser settings.

Withdrawal stops future collection by our integration; it does not by itself delete data already processed by Google or remove existing aggregate reports. Analytics retention is governed by our Google Analytics property settings and Google's processing policies. Event-level retention and aggregate report retention can differ; see Google Analytics data retention.

Hosting and Embedded Content

The documentation is hosted on GitHub Pages. Requests necessarily disclose network and request information to the hosting provider. GitHub's handling of that information is described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. This hosting processing is separate from optional Google Analytics.

Some guides load images or videos from third-party hosts, including Roboflow. Loading that content sends requests to the relevant provider, which can receive your IP address and other request information independently of your analytics choice. Following external links also takes you to services with their own privacy policies. Theme fonts are served with the documentation.

Google, GitHub, and media providers may process information in other countries under their own applicable privacy and transfer arrangements.

Questions and Privacy Requests

For privacy questions or to request a private contact route, contact the trained-by-humans project maintainers through the ml-pipes GitHub Discussions. Do not post personal information, cookie identifiers, or other sensitive details in public discussions or issues.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Requests concerning information held by a service provider may also require contacting that provider. Our reports do not necessarily let us identify an individual visitor.

Changes to This Notice

We will update this page when the documentation's data practices change, including any change of analytics provider, and revise the date above.
